Sharon Kills It Again!

With all the hectic emotion of the elections, we didn’t post our Staff Halloween post. It was worth digging up though.

This year, Starworker Sharon chose a “team outfit” as she grabbed business cohort Lyle Maltz as Assistant #1 and friend for Assistant #2.

Together, they maneuvered through New York parties “in character” — distracted by emergency blackberry messages, and giving that “oh-I-hate-this-fabulous-business-I’m-the-queen-of” type look.

Meet Yale Breslin

The 23 year old Mr. Breslin has excellent taste. On top of knowing all the cool kids, art projects, and general trends around town, Yale also works at the advertising bohemouth, Publicis, in Toronto. He did a “drive-by” through New York this summer with an internship at Nylon Magazine. Yale swears to return to New York as soon as possible.

In the meantime, you’ll get to know him here as he’ll post interviews with wonderful creative minds in art, entertainment, ads, luxury, and culture stuff.

Diesel XXX

(M.I.A. is Preggers! The cool mommy busting out a set at Diesel XXX, NYC)

Diesel XXX party finally happened this last Saturday. Bands that performed were MIA, Hot Chip, T.I., N.E.R.D. and Chaka Kahn. Our crew of Starworkers were manning the doors from New York to London (where the other Diesel XXX party was happening the exact same night with performances by Pete Dougherty, The View, and a ton of other bands. It was a hectic weekend, as you can tell.
