When you’re launching a fragrance called Bang, you have to ensure that the party is, well, banging. With this in mind, fashion wunderkind Marc Jacobs enlisted the talents of a stellar cast of DJs at the bash to unveil his new scent for men. Model of the moment Jesus Luz tore up the turntables in Harvey Nichols’ Fifth Floor restaurant with an infectious mix of Brazilian beats, dirty electro and twisted pop anthems. The ultimate crowd pleaser? Celebration by (his girlfriend) Madonna. Next up was Jake Shears of the Scissor Sisters who gave classic sounds (think Prince’s You’ve Got the Look) a novel Noughties spin. Little wonder Marc’s party posse (Mischa Barton, Beth Ditto, Jamie Winstone, Daisy Lowe, Pixie Lott) kept rocking ’til dawn.
