Last week, we had the honor of Marios Schwab hanging out in our offices in New York while we presented his new stunning collection to press. Just before he skipped town, we threw him a sexy small dinner with fashion friends in the Penthouse suite of the Morgans hotel.
In addition to Marios, guests included Nadja Swarovski, Jen Brill, Lily Aldrige, Lauren Santo Domingo, Emma Reeves, and Starworks founders James Grant and Alana Varel. A bevy of publishing fashion friends joined the dinner including Mark Holgate (Vogue), Nicole Phelps (Style.com), Karla Martinez (Interview), Chris Bollen (Interview), Armand Limnander (NY Times), Stylist Kate Young, and Jay Massacret (V Magazine).
The room was full of eye candy with Mario Schwab dresses planted around the room almost resembling an art installation. Each dress is a work of art on its own, some with Swarovski crystals interlaced in the dress. We’re jealous Olivia in Starworks PR got to rock one of the fine pieces of work… but she wore it well.
