Based in New York, Joe Zee is by far one of the most prominent stylists the fashion world has seen to date. As Creative Director of Elle, Zee’s career spans many different realms: Editorial (Details, Home & Garden, Vitals, W etc…), Advertising campaigns (Theory, Sean John, H&M Chanel, etc…), TV commercials (Covet by Sarah Jessica Parker, Gap, etc…) and Celebrity Styling (Gwyneth Paltrow, Jake Gyllenhaal, Lenny Kravitz, Janet Jackson, etc…).
By far one of the most creative individuals in the fashion industry, Zee and I caught up last week. He shared his favorite designers, his long awaited summer plans, and why hotel gift stores are his favorite places to shop.
