From Keeping it Kosher to calling your chauffeur, this past weekend had most blackberry calendars working harder than Ryan Seacrest. After working the stars all week, it was time for the stars to go to work. Thinking I was just meeting a friend at the Four Seasons for brunch, the 9th Annual AFI Awards was letting out. Dodging the heavy hitters to enjoy my light meal. I spotted , Ron Howard, Clint Eastwood, Emile Hirsch, Mickey Rourke and Ron Meyers. But, who I was most excited to see and chat with was writers and executive producers Gene Stupnisky, Lee Eisenberg and on air talent B.J. Novak and Mindy Kaling from The Office.

After being seasoned, I found myself walking into the Chateau Marmont for The New York Style Times Magazine party hosted by Stefano Tonchi, Andre Balazs and Lynn Hirschberg. Upon walking and being handed a vintage Dom Perignon I saw DSQUARED designers Dan and Dean Caten hanging out on the penthouse balcony along with Darren Star, Rosetta Getty and stylist Ari Phillips. Beautifully lit, fresh flowers, hot bartenders and Tom Cruise spread out all over the tables on the cover of T Magazine. Cruise, looking sensational charmed the room with his debonair smile, being the legend he is in such a risky business. Friday night was not only about the guys, but breathtaking beauties Freida Pinto (Slumdog Millionaire), Joy Bryant (Welcome Home, Roscoe Jenkins) and Chloe Sevigny (Big Love) were also penthouse-ing it up.

Having ran into so many social butterflies starved for attention, it was the perfect time to sneak out and head to Lorraine Schwartz shabbat dinner. Lorraine’s, Torahs and Challah bread…oh my! Diamonds are a girls best friend, but in Lorraine’s Schwartz’s case so is half of Hollywood who was in attendance at her dinner. The night ended at the Buffalo Club for the CAA party. If there wasn’t enough A’s in their name already they can add one more for A list. Because that’s who was in attendance at the party. Guest included Anne Hathaway, Cameron Diaz, Daniel Craig, Gwen Stefani, Hilary Swank, Matthew McConaughey, Penelope Cruz, Selma Hayek, Reese and Jake.

Saturday evening downtown, many charitable guest walked up the stairway to heaven and entered The Vibiana for The Art of Elysium Gala. A black tie affair that brought out Ali Larter, Dave Annebelle, Odette Yutsman, Courtney Cox, David Arquette, Gerad Butler, Milla Jovovich, Patricia and Rosanna Arquette, Rumor Willis, Topher Grace,
Tobey Maguire, Kirsten Dunst, Nicole Richie and Sting. Founder Jennifer Howell gave a heart warming speech, Rosetta Getty who was the angelic voice that introduced co-chair Ryan Kavanaugh. Visionary Jim Sheridan gave his insight on putting together the event along with accepting the very first visionary award. Another award went out to Eva Mendes who accepted the spirit of The Art of Elysium with all her time and donations she has given. After the heavenly dinner party was over, everyone then went to hell…across the street at The Edison. Vogue who co hosted the event was in full force with their own A list table that the lovely Lisa Love held court at.

Now for the curtain call and someone yelling lights, camera, action! Golden Globe glamour has arrived on Sunday afternoon. This may have been the best night by far and everyone including you were invited to watch on NBC our favorite stars present and accept their awards. Cozy’d up with friends and bottles of wine we watched Hollywood receive the STARWORKS.
