More help needed next week…

(Message From Erin Krause)
Hi guys, my friend Asad, who was one of the organizers for Downtown for Democracy is organizing trips to PA this upcoming weekend. It is hard work, but it really really helps, and its also pretty fun. Last time I met a ton of nice people. And its a free trip, with a free place to stay! If you can’t go, maybe you can forward this around a little to help him find as many people as possible.
Thanks
Erin

Hey guys, I know we all think PA’s in the bag, but the people running Senator O.’s campaign in Philly are VERY nervous. Reason? McCain knows he can’t win without the state and has been pouring money and time into it. He and Palin have been there 10 times in the last 14 days.
More insidiously, Obama’s campaign coordinator for Philly tells me, there’s lots of voter intimidation going on. You know, someone calls a newly registered voter and tells them the IRS will be auditing them if they vote, etc. And if That One doesn’t win Philly by 500,000 votes, the state could be in jeopardy.
So… let’s get down there and help out! The Obama campaign is willing to pay for transport and find us place to stay Saturday night.
Don’t want to spend the night? No problemo. Hop on a train or bus back to New York Saturday night, or hop on one Sunday morning and join us.
Obama’s organizers have called me every night for the last three, they really need reinforcements. Let’s be the people they’re waiting for!!!
Just let me know if you’re in… email:

…and finally, if you’re reading this from outside New York, here’s a note from Senator Bob Casey last Friday…
Barack’s organization in Pennsylvania is unlike anything I’ve ever seen — but it’s about to be put to the test. With 11 days until Election Day, the McCain campaign has made its electoral strategy perfectly clear — it all comes down to Pennsylvania. “The election hinges on Pennsylvania,” a top McCain advisor told CNN on Monday.

Organizers here are working day and night to win this crucial battleground state. But to pull it off, they’re counting on the time, energy, and passion of supporters in neighboring states who share their commitment to Barack’s message of change. But the only way to keep it up and take McCain’s last-minute challenge head on is if you get involved.
That’s where you come in. We’re running strong in Pennsylvania. Our challenge is to keep it that way.
Senator Bob Casey
