A Night at the MET

Monday, May 5, marked the return of the annual Costume Institute Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. The evening, as always, was a super glamorous traffic jam of celebrities, socialites, fashion designers and anyone else lucky enough to get their hands on a ticket.

For this year’s event, we hooked budding actress and fashion trendsetter Byrdie Bell up with Brian Atwood, Creative Director of Bally, to attend the event. I was on hand to help Byrdie prepare for the big night! She munched on Thin Mint Girl Scout Cookies and listened to pop music as she sat for hair and makeup pro Misaki.

After the event, I met up with Byrdie, Brian and Nate Berkus, at Socialista for a little post-Met fun. “How lucky am I??” Byrdie cooed to me as she slid into her place on the couch between Brian and Nate. “I had two gorgeous dates this evening!”
